Since the beginning of time, God has had his mind on you.

Why?

Because You Matter.

You Matter.

Finding Hope and Meaning in Everyday Life has been birthed from the past thirty-three years of my sharing words of hope with teenagers across America and in nations of the world.

Contained within the covers of this new ministry resource are my personal testimony and a clear invitation to more fully embrace not only the truth that you matter, but also, why you matter.

Meet the Author

Since January of 1993, Dean Sikes has been on the road, ministering words of hope in high schools, Teen Challenge Centers, churches and prisons across America and in nations of the world. To date, he’s spoken at over four thousand two hundred events, sharing the YOU MATTER message with  millions of people.

In addition to a full-time road outreach, the team is active every day of the year on social media, sharing messages of hope for everyone, everywhere. Over the last two years, the team has had over 150 million views of Dean’s videos online.

A published author, to date, Dean has written thirty-three (33) books, all of which  serve as follow up resources for teens and their families.

Together with his wife, Lori, the Sikes family make their home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

You matter.

The very first time I heard the Lord whisper those two words to my heart, He instantly had my attention. Even though I was working for Him, I still had a place in my heart that was so broken, so hopeless. I initially thought He was kindly sharing this because He loves me. And yes, that was one reason. But soon I would learn there was more, so much more, God had planned for me.

When the truth that yes, you matter, is settled in your heart, your life gradually begins to take on a deeper meaning. A deeper purpose is recognized, and what choices to make begin to become clearer.

Sometimes we come to the end of ourselves and realize that surely there is more to life. We strive for more purpose, more fulfillment, and yes, more hope.

Praise for the
You Matter Organization:

“You were created on purpose, with purpose, for a purpose.’ This message has reached students across our country and world with great effect, restoring children’s hope and faith in themselves. As parents, teachers, and administrators search for ways to positively impact their students. I urge them to consider this program to ensure their children hear the life-changing words ‘You Matter.’”
